Scripts for 6th December Finland Independence Day

Like everywhere else independence day is a holiday in Finland. In Finland, December 6 marks the Finnish independence day from Russian empire. Since 1807, Finland had been a part of Russia. After the Russian defeat in the World War I, independence day movement started. Then on 6 December 1917, Finland finally got its independence. However, Finnish independence day was first celebrated in 1919. Usually Finnish has been celebrating their independence by patriotic speeches and special church visits. In recent times, they show their gratitude for the independence by vibrant activities and cakes with blue and white icing on them and two candles on the windows of every home as it is said to recall a time when two candles were placed in the window as a sign to Finnish soldiers that the house would offer them shelter and hide them from the Russians. Below I have covered the anchoring scripts for 6th December Finland independence day celebration.
